OCD and Me
What is obsessive compulsive disorder? What can it look like in a person’s day to day life? How can I support someone who has been diagnosed with OCD? OCD is a mental health disorder that affects people of many different age groups. OCD can impact a person’s daily life with intrusive thoughts, images, or impulses that can feel all-consuming and compulsions that aim to alleviate the discomfort of obsessions. Join us for a conversation with HAMH’s own, Adithi Jayaraman, a current college student at Dartmouth, as she discusses her experience living as a high functioning young adult with OCD.
