In case you are curious, when I was remote I had more of a 9-5 schedule from M-F so the remote experience was a bit more flexible!

Most DRCLAS programs involve students with different levels of language proficiency, ranging from people who have taken intermediate language classes in college or high school, to native speakers, to people who speak these languages at home but have never practiced them in an academic or professional setting. What was it like for you to speak Spanish or Portuguese during these programs, and did you feel like your relationship with this language changed?
