We use Coverall Cleaning company, a janitorial company. They have what is called a level 4 cleaning system. We can use them as often as we need but since we clean in between patients and have daily cleaning it has been okay. We work with teens in middle and high schools- 11-18 years old.
Muzette

sandraholifield
01:00:11
Anyone have a good method of dealing with dental aerosols in the open school setting? We won't have walls so purifiers may not be an option
Eemaan Thind
01:03:52
We don’t have a van yet (we were supposed to submit a funding proposal during Spring). Special thanks to Dr Oriol whose research was helpful in creating a cost-consequence analysis for a mobile van for Canadian Mental Health Association (London, Ontario)
Colleen Matzke
01:03:54
We are using face shields for physicals and vaccines
Rita Vento
01:03:58
We do not use face shields for our teen population.
sandraholifield
01:03:58
we are not using face shields, only for aerosol procedures to preserve them
mderr
01:04:56
We do not use face shield as we are providing well baby visits, an immunizations. We screen before they come on to the van.
Colleen Matzke
01:05:20
With the pediatric population we felt that if a child is crying , upset, and maybe even coughing during procedure we felt it was safer to have the face shield on during close encounters.
Rosemary Galdiano
01:06:08
Are programs experiencing high no show rates?
sandraholifield
01:07:24
We have not necessarily had an increase of no shows for our dental clinics, it's been an issue before that anyway
Colleen Matzke
01:07:36
Huge no show rates
SXB027
01:07:45
Our no show rates have increased
Rita Vento
01:08:01
Another suggestion to access school based population is to partner with the food and nutrition services of the school district to distribute flyers and get the word out to parents picking up food. We also can park at some of the schools to provide services.
SXB027
01:08:33
We fill people need to stay connected and this gives them the ability to see others
Icy Cade-Bell
01:08:34
Maybe about 50% show rate so far- also related to weather though (some cold, wet days).
Karri Amundson
