An important casualty of the pandemic was the ability for students to explore actual works of art, in person, in the Harvard Art Museums. With considerable help from museum colleagues and some simple technology, however, Margaret Morgan Grasselli, Visiting Lecturer and Visiting Senior Scholar for Drawings, was able to teach her seminar, “Drawing Lessons,” from the Art Study Center and to approximate for her students the joy of experiencing art works live. Join Meg as she talks about the particular challenges she faced and presents favorite drawings by Michelangelo, Rubens, Watteau, and Van Gogh, among others.
