PBHA’s Summer Urban Program (SUP) is a network of 11 summer camps serving hundreds of youth in Greater Boston from low-income backgrounds. For more than 50 years, SUP has engaged students from Harvard and surrounding colleges in combating youth summer learning loss by offering a summer of academic enrichment, community building, socio- emotional growth, and service-learning. In response to COVID-19, SUP pivoted to virtual and hybrid models in 2020 and 2021, to continue providing resources to youth in dire need of engagement and community. For the summer of 2022, we have high hopes for a completely in person model (contingent on the state of the pandemic and abilities to do so safely) to continue building relationships and support families as best as we can. We hope that you can support us through the auction as we focus on rebuilding communities with our participants.
