Travel Talks with Werner Sollors "The River Elbe: Microcosm of European History"
The river Elbe and its tributaries have flown from the times of peoples’ migrations and the Holy Roman Empire to the Reformation, the Thirty Years’ War, the horrors of the 20th century, the Cold War, and then the European Union.

Join us as we encounter Charles IV’s Prague, August the Strong’s Dresden, and Frederick the Great’s Potsdam. We'll trace the echoes of writer Franz Kafka in Prague, painter Caspar David Friedrich in the mountains of “Saxonian Switzerland,” and reformer Martin Luther in Wittenberg.

Space is limited and on a first come, first serve basis! Please note, this lecture will be recorded and shared with you.
