Join Immigrant History Initiative (IHI) and the Harvard Graduate School of Education to discuss strategies for addressing anti-Asian racism in the classroom.

Kathy Lu and Julia Wang are the Co-Founders of the Immigrant History Initiative, a nonprofit organization that aims to fundamentally change how we learn, talk, and think about race, migration, and social justice as a global society. Immigrant History Initiative provides education resources that center on the histories and lived experiences of immigrant communities and people of color.

Sarah (HGSE '19) is an educator and restorative justice practitioner. Sarah's work focuses on social justice, identity development, community building, and mental health. Sarah has created circle resources on topics such as trauma awareness, trust-building, and transformative justice.
